Elder Law

Wills and Powers of Attorney
Wills and powers of attorney are the foundation of any estate plan. They must be drafted to fit the specific need of the client.
Veterans Aid and Attendance
Veterans and survivors who are eligible for a VA pension and require the aid and attendance of another person, or are housebound, may be eligible for additional monetary payment. These benefits are paid in addition to monthly pension, and they are not paid without eligibility to Pension.
Medicaid
In order to be eligible for Medicaid benefits a nursing home resident may have no more than a certain amount of “countable” assets. Medicaid applications and eligibility are complex.
